With a current membership of about 35 000, the association also is active in policy-making and public debate. It is a member of the Swedish Confederation of Professional Associations (SACO) as well as of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). As a student your are eligible for free membership during three years. Benefits include 10 issues yearly of our magazine Civilekonomen and educational advising. Full student membership is SEK 100 for a year and entitles you to additional benefits such as advice on work-related matters and salary levels. Furthermore, Civilekonomerna offers career advice and arranges career-related seminars and lectures which you are welcome to attend as a full student member.
